20 Weeks and 4 Days Pregnant

So I haven't been doing a good job on keeping up with this blog, or taking pictures. I wanted to take a 20 week belly photo but at this point I should just wait until 21 weeks.

We just got back from Florida visiting Leslie and Alfred. We had such a nice time, the weather was wonderful!! We relaxed most of the time and got to the beach a few times. The best thing about the trip is CJ finally felt Emma kick my belly. I have been feeling little flutters for the last couple of weeks but it wasn't strong enough for CJ to feel. And one night we were laying in bed watching TV and she was kicking me hard so I grabbed CJ's hand and placed it on my belly and within a few minutes she kicked again. Emma isn't kicking hard all the time yet so he didn't feel it again until Sunday. But everytime he feels it his face lights up and he says "Was that it, I felt it"

Well Emma is already spoiled. Leslie took me to Babies R Us while we were in Florida and she bought some of the cutest outfits for her, she also got me a baby book and said her and Alfred will buy Emma's crib. I am so thankful for the things they do for CJ, Emma and me. I will post pictures of the cute little outfits later but here is the crib. It's just a simple crib, in espresso, it will be perfect in her little room.

I also registered at Babies R Us while Leslie and I were there. A few weeks ago My mom and I went to Burlington Coat Factory and registered there with BabyDepot (Burlington's baby section). I registered there because they have the bedding I wanted it's called Garden Party, by Carters (picture below). I originally had my mind set on something else (which was in an earlier post) but once I saw it in person I didn't like it. But CJ found the Garden Party pattern and I fell in love with it (here it is)

I think I am also entering in my "Nesting" stage. We got home from Florida late Friday night, and as soon as CJ brought in the luggage I started seperating laundry. Saturday we put away all of the Christmas Decorations and started cleaning the house. On Sunday I told him we had to re-organize some of our closets and clean our house from top to bottom. Which I made sure was all done before dinner Sunday night. I told him in the near future I want to go through all of our "stuff" and start downsizing by giving away or throwing things away. Our house is very small and I don't want any clutter and want it prepared for all of Emma's things.

Also CJ past a very important test for work, and he got a letter in the mail a few weeks ago stating that he was being promoted two grades up and his first paycheck for February will reflect his pay increase. I am very proud of him! Not only does he get a pay increase but this also opens the door for him to apply for other water department jobs through out Maryland.
