Ohhh the anticipation....

We can't wait to find out the gender of the baby. We have 5 more weeks before we can find out. Yesterday friends of ours just found out what they are having, and I can't wait for us to find out too.

When CJ and I found out we were pregnant we wanted to pick out names right away, even before we told anyone we were pregnant. We finally have narrowed it down to one name for each gender. For a baby girl the name will be Emma Lillian I picked the name Emma and Lillian was CJ's Grandmother's name. For a baby boy the name will be Levi Wayne. We both agreed on Levi and Wayne is my Dad's middle name.

The next thing I was excited to pick out is the nursery decor. After searching dozens of websites, I decided that I didn't want pink for a girl and didn't want blue for a boy. So I narrowed it down to purple for a girl and green for a boy. I then found a few that I like and CJ made the final decision.

Once we know the gender of the baby I feel like we can get more accomplished. We will be able to register and know if we have to repaint the babys room. (currently it's painted purple, but if we have a boy he can not have a purple room). We can also start calling the baby by his or her name instead of calling the baby "him or her" or CJ's favorite, "It".

We are also excited because the same week we find out the gender, we are also going to Florida to visit Leslie and Alfred (CJ's parents). We are so excited to see them, it seems like it has been forever since we have seen them. We are also hoping to share our sonogram pictures with them. We figured this will probably be the last time we get to go to Florida before the baby is born... and we are ready for much needed sunshine and warm weather.

So we will be having a busy January, but we can't wait until then. But not just January, this new year is going to be so much fun and has lots to bring.
