9 Week Ultra Sound

So we went back to the doctors today. We had an ultrasound because the Doc thought that there may be more than one baby, but luckily there is only one healthy baby. We had our first ultrasound at 7 weeks, only two weeks ago and wow the baby has grown so much. At our first appointment CJ thought he saw the head, arms and legs but the Doc said it was only the size of a grain of rice and he wasn't really seeing anything(lol he was just so excited). We could also see and hear a nice strong heart beat. This time we could see the head, arms, legs and the heart beat and as the Doc zoomed on him or her, he or she twitched and moved his or her arm and leg. It was so amazing!!! We could see the body shape really well but when the Doc printed the picture, it wasn't as clear as it was on the computer screen. I still can't figure out how to scan the pictures so I took a picture of the picture and here they are. I labeled one of them so you can figure out what you are looking at.





What an awesome way to start the weekend. I still can't believe how much the baby has grown. According to my book, the baby is about the size of a medium olive.
